The Issey Miyake store design in Tokyo has embraced the more modest look using car aluminum sheets to cover the walls. I think the simplicity is overwhelming in a good way.I love the old Issey triangle bag, I saw one at a re-sale store a few weeks ago and it reminded me to look into newer collections.
I lived in Japan for about 6 years so I have a soft spot in my heart for Japanese designers. It's where I lived when I really developed my love for fashion and art.
