Gorgeous handmade rodartesque knitted mohair necklaces with stones, gems and metal details. I also like the fact that these necklaces have a bit more bigger metal lock to contrast the soft threads. By Shadowplay

Ana Sui

I borrowed this Ana Sui dress from my lovely friend Amy for a job interview yesterday. I still have most of my clothes packed waiting for just the right way to organize our closet. Hopefully will be done later today. Anyway this dress was perfect for yesterdays HEAT WAVE.

Vogue Japan-FTW amazing!

MOVING TO BOSTON TOMORROW!!!

lace and a short history lesson

a bra not for support but for beauty.

this photo made me curious about the history of lace and lace-making.

sooo...lace-making. The craft may have begun in the first half of the 14th century in Flanders (Now on the border between France and Belgium). Lace was used by clergy of the early Catholic Church as part of vestments in religious ceremonies, but did not come into widespread use until the 16th century. and there you have it.

via apartment therapy. i have seen a lot of bike parts turned into useful things but these are pretty amazing looking. bottom two images are my favorite. also apartment therapy is a pretty neato place for interesting inspiration.
